That rights! Right here in the heart of the great OC, we have our own teeter-tooters, ramps, drops, wood berms and fun North Shore style mountain bike course. I took an adventure with my riding buddy, the Bionic Man, today and we discovered a bunch of trails near Talega that someone has been maintaining..... and they are amazing!
It took me a while to muster up the courage to cross over the plastic pipeline with wood tracks over the top of it. Luckily, I finally cleaned stair steps in Aliso yesterday after 10 years of trying so my dirt confidence is at an all time high.
So I did a little south county North Shore just to scare me enough to show me that I am still alive.
Oh, by the way..... I have to mention the dawn patrol surf session with my other friend, Boy Wonder. We dawn patroled at Newport this morning charging on classic 8-10' Newport.
